The Journal of Sonic Studies is electronic magazine for auditive culture.
we designed the identity for this project, both the academic Journal as well as a Tumblr site. the editors of the Journal were very keen to break out of the confines of an academic publication, and thus we assisted them in setting up a Tumblr site to be more ‘newsy’ than the academic, peer reviewed Journal, can be. everybody happy!
